Soldiers live fire mortars during RTI course

Army National Guard Soldiers from nine different states enrolled in the 11C Indirect Fire Infantryman course taught by instructors assigned to the Fort Pickett-based 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute, fire mortars March 16, 2016, at Fort Pickett. The two-week class brought together 11 Soldiers from states including Alaska, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Maryland, Rhode Island and Wisconsin. The Soldiers will earn the 11C military occupational specialty once the complete the course.
