VDF supports parade at 73rd Governor's Inauguration - Jan. 13, 2018

Virginia Defense Force volunteers assist with staging and marshaling the parade marching elements and providing communications support at the inauguration of Dr. Ralph Northam as the 73rd Governor of Virginia Jan. 13, 2018, in Richmond, Virginia. More than 200 Virginia National Guard and VDF personnel were on duty supporting the inauguration with a variety of missions including playing ceremonial music, firing a 19-gun howitzer salute, providing command and control of the inaugural parade marching elements, leading the inaugural parade and conducting a flyover with UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.
