Senior leaders visit UAS training

Soldiers assigned to the Bowling Green-based Detachment 1, Company B, 116th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team provide a capabilities overview of the RQ-7B Shadow unmanned aerial system to Brig. Gen. Walter L. Mercer, Assistant Adjutant General-Army, and Command Sgt. Maj. Cheyenne M. Johnson, Virginia Army National Guard Command Sergeant Major, June 12, 2016m at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The overview brief covered their capabilities and unit readiness, and afterwards Mercer took a hands on approach by launching the aircraft.
