Virginia aviation battalion welcomes Sheldon as new commander - Aug. 5, 2018

Maj. James Sheldon takes command of the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division from Lt. Col. William X. Taylor in a change of command ceremony held Aug. 5, 2018, at the Virginia National Guard's Army Aviation Support Facility in Sandston, Virginia. Brig. Gen. John M. Epperly, 29th Infantry Division Commander, presided over the exchange of unit colors between the outgoing and incoming commanders.
