VNG Soldier represents National Guard at Capitals Salute to the Troops

Virginia National Guard Soldier Pfc. Gavin Asbury represents the National Guard at the Washington Capitals Military Appreciation Night along with personnel from the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard Feb. 7, 2019, in Washington, D.C. Asbury graduated from U.S. Army Ranger School in December 2018, right after completing Basic Training and Infantry Advanced Individual Training. He is assigned to the VNG’s Lexington-based Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
