Normandy Soldiers conduct air assault training at A.P. Hill

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Leesburg-based Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct air assault training during their drill weekend Oct. 19, 2019, at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. The Normandy Soldiers practiced tactical maneuvers on and off UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters before flying to and taking their objective. Air support was provided by the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division.
