1032 TC completes line haul from Canada to Fort Pickett - Dec. 8, 2019

Virginia National Guard personnel and Canadian soldiers offload howitzers and other equipment from trucks Dec. 8, 2019, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. VNG Soldiers assigned to the Gate City-based 1032nd Transportation Company, 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group conducted a line haul to help the Montreal-based 34th Canadian Brigade Group move equipment to Fort Pickett ahead of a training exercise planned for January 2020. The 1032nd’s 30-vehicle convoy safely travelled more than 2,000 miles from Abingdon to Saint-Hubert, Quebec, Canada, and then back to Fort Pickett over five days.
