Maj. Louis E. Burke takes command of the Richmond-based 34th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosives Enhanced Response Force Package from Lt. Col. Richard L. Harrison, Sept. 11, 2020, at the S. Gardner Waller Depot in Richmond, Virginia. Brig. Gen. James W. Ring, Virginia National Guard Director of the Joint Staff, presided over the change of command ceremony and the exchange of organizational colors signifying the transfer of command from Harrison to Burke.
