VNG helps support MSSPIX ’20 technology demonstrations at Fort Pickett - Sept. 16, 2020

Virginia National Guard Soldiers support a technology demonstration during Maneuver Support, Sustainment and Protection Integration Experiments 2020, held by the Fort Lee-based Sustainment Battle Lab Sept. 16, 2020, at the Blackstone Army Airfield at Fort Pickett, Virginia. During the demonstration held for dozens of distinguished visitors, VNG Soldiers assigned to the Fort Pickett-based 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute, performed a sling load of an Autonomous and Robotic Remote Refueling Point prototype. A VNG flight crew assigned to the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division provided a UH-60 Black Hawk for aerial support for the refueling demonstration, one of five technologies showcased during the event.
