VNG Soldiers recognized for support to Roanoke vaccine clinic - April 7, 2021

Virginia National Guard Soldiers receive a special challenge coin from representatives of Carilion Clinic April 7, 2021, in recognition of their support to the Roanoke COVID-19 vaccination clinic. VNG Soldiers are providing administrative and logistical assistance to the clinic operated by Roanoke City and Alleghany Health Districts, Carilion Clinic and other community partners. Later in the day, U.S. Sen. Mark Warner visited the clinic and thanked Soldiers for their support during a tour of the facility.
