Funeral Honors Program hosts training for active duty Soldiers - April 21, 2021

The Virginia National Guard Military Funeral Honors Program hosts basic funeral honors training for 30 U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the Fort Eustis-based 7th Transportation Brigade April 21 at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Four Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers and one Maryland Army National Guard Soldier provided the five-day training, which covered proper handling of the casket as pall bearers and properly folding and presenting the U.S. flag to the veteran’s next of kin.
