Legend Soldiers conduct medical evacuation training - Aug. 4, 2021

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Danville-based 429th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team practice loading patients onto a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter modified for medical evacuation Aug. 4, 2021, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. Medics assigned to the Charlottesville-based Charlie Company, 429th BSB, 116th IBCT and aviators assigned to the Chesterfield-based Detachment 2, Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 169th Aviation Regiment hosted the training. The event was part of the Staunton-based 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team’s annual training, being held July 31 through Aug. 15, 2021, at Fort Pickett.
