116th IBCT Soldiers train on Soldier Borne Sensor UAS - Sept. 10, 2021

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Staunton-based 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team train on the Soldier Borne Sensor unmanned aerial system during a new equipment training and fielding Sept. 10, 2021, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The SBS is equipped with visual and thermal cameras and allows Soldiers to conduct remote aerial reconnaissance to detect personnel or targets at a range of more than a kilometer.
