11B students train on M249 at Fort Pickett - July 16, 2022

U.S. National Guard Soldiers from across the nation train on the M249 light machine gun July 16, 2022, during an 11B Infantry Transition Course, taught by cadre assigned to the 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute at Fort Pickett, Virginia. Over the course of three weeks, the Soldiers enrolled in the course will learn basic infantry skills and, upon successful completion of course requirements, gradate the course with the 11B Infantryman military occupational speciality.
