CW5 Puckett takes final UH-60 Black Hawk flight - July 22, 2022

Chief Warrant Officer 5 Joseph W. Puckett, the Virginia National Guard’s Command Chief Warrant Officer, conducts his final flight on board a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter July 22, 2022, at the Virginia National Guard’s Army Aviation Support Facility in Sandston, Virginia. Puckett’s two sons, who both serve in the military, were on board for the final flight and the group returned to a crowd of family members, senior leaders, friends and colleagues. Puckett has more than 5,200 total flight hours including more than 300 hours over imminent danger and combat time. Puckett will be succeeded as the VNG’s CCWO by Chief Warrant Officer 5 John D. Calley.
