1710th Transportation Company hosts open house in Emporia - Aug. 14, 2022

The Virginia National Guard’s Emporia-based 1710th Transportation Company, 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group hosts an open house Aug. 14, 2022, at their readiness center in Emporia, Virginia. The event provided an opportunity for local government leaders and members of the community to learn more about their hometown unit and also had a cookout for Soldiers, families and veteran alumni. Soldiers assigned to the Virginia Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion were also on hand with their climbing wall and pedal cars and ready to answer questions about possible career opportunities in the National Guard.
