VNG participates in 2022 Virginia Veterans and Military Affairs Conference - Sept. 14, 2022

Lt. Col. James Shaver Jr., the Maneuver Training Center Fort Pickett garrison commander, participates in a panel discussion with other Virginia military installation commanders Sept. 14, 2022, during the 2022 Virginia Veterans and Military Affairs Conference in Richmond, Virginia. The event, hosted by the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, Virginia Veterans Services Foundation and the Virginia Chamber Foundation, included remarks by retired Maj. Gen. Craig Crenshaw, the Virginia Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs, and Daniel Gade, commissioner of the Virginia Department of Veterans Services. Retired Brig. Gen. Walt Mercer, the Virginia Department of Military Affairs Chief Operations Officer, Chief Warrant Officer 5 John D. Calley, the Virginia Army National Guard Command Chief Warrant Officer, and Michelle Claiborne, the DMA Human Resources manager, also attended the conference.
