Virginia's veterans honored at Roanoke parade - Nov. 12, 2022

The Virginia's Veterans Parade honors the service of men and women in the armed forces Nov. 12, 2022, in Roanoke, Virginia. Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, served as the grand marshal for the parade and participated in the Veteran Meet and Greet, held at the City Market Building, along with Soldiers assigned to the Troutville-based 29th Division Band. Band members also provided musical accompaniment for the event, which aimed to honor the service and sacrifice of the men and women of the armed forces and offered the community a chance to connect with area veterans.
