Mecadon takes command of 34th CST - Dec. 1, 2022

Maj. Thomas Mecadon takes command of the Fort Pickett-based 34th Civil Support Team from Lt. Col. Lyndsey Hodgkins during a ceremony Dec. 1, 2022, at the Virginia National Guard Sgt. Bob Slaughter Headquarters at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. Brig. Gen. James W. Ring, the Virginia National Guard Director of the Joint Staff, presided over the traditional exchange of unit colors symbolizing the transfer of command from Hodgkins to Mecadon.
