AG, 29th ID Band honor veterans at Virginia Veterans Cemetery - Dec. 17, 2022

Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, delivers the keynote address at the annual Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia Court House, Virginia, Dec. 17, 2022. The Troutville-based 29th Infantry Division Band provided music for the event. The Virginia Department of Veterans Services hosted the ceremony in partnership with Wreaths Across America, and the program featured patriotic music and representatives of veterans service organizations and state and local government. At the conclusion of the program, attendees placed a wreath to honor veterans on each gravesite. Similar ceremony took place at Virginia’s other two veterans cemeteries in Dublin and Suffolk.
