VNG hosts Tajik soldiers for OPD at Fort Barfoot - March 29, 2023

Virginia National Guard Soldiers work through reflexive fire drills with soldiers from the Republic of Tajikistan March 29, 2023, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia, as part of an Officer Professional Development, or OPD. The event included four soldiers from Tajikistan and focused on engaging targets with both rifle and pistol. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Virginia National Guard’s partnership with Tajikistan through the State Partnership Program.
