229th BEB welcomes Pearson as new commander - April 16, 2023

Maj. W. Chandler Pearson takes command of the Fredericksburg-based 229th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team from Lt. Col. Robert P. “Beau” Mason April 16, 2023, at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. Col. Jared D. Lake, commander of the 116th IBCT, presided over the change of command ceremony, which included an exchange of unit colors. The Troutville-based 29th Infantry Division Band provided music for the ceremony.
