Soldiers train as Suicide Intervention Officers in order to help fellow Soldiers in crisis - April 20, 2023

Virginia National Guard Soldiers from around the state attend a Suicide Intervention Officer Course April 20, 2023, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The three-day course offered by the Virginia National Guard Resilience, Risk Reduction, and Suicide Prevention Program provides training and resources for unit SIOs to help Soldiers who are thinking of or acting on suicide.
