HART practices advanced hoist techniques - June 29, 2023

Virginia National Guard flight crews and members of the Chesterfield County Fire and Emergency Medical Services Scuba Rescue Team train on advanced hoist techniques June 29, 2023, in Chesterfield, Virginia. The training focused on safely using a rescue litter and a basket to conduct live hoists. Together, Virginia aviators and Chesterfield first responders form the Virginia Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team, or HART, which provides rotary wing aviation hoist capabilities and aerial rescue evacuation.
