2-224th AVN welcomes Williams as new CSM - July 8, 2023

Command Sgt. Maj. Laronda Williams takes responsibility as the command sergeant major of 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division from Command Sgt. Maj. Joseph Viera during a ceremony held July 8, 2023, at the Army Aviation Support Facility in Sandston, Virginia. Maj. Ryan Strait, commander of 2-224th, presided over the ceremony that included an exchange of the noncommissioned officer sword representing the change of responsibility for Soldier welfare and training from Viera to Williams.
