DMA, VDF support out-processing for TF Cardinal Soldiers, Airmen - Aug. 2, 2023

Members of the Virginia Defense Force and employees with the Virginia Department of Military Affairs conduct reverse reception, staging, onward movement and integration for Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen assigned to Task Force Cardinal after their return to Virginia Aug. 2, 3023, at Fort Barfoot Virginia. The task force, operating in support of Operation Lone Star in Texas, staffed observation posts and conducted roving patrols along the border between Texas and Mexico to observe and detect potential illegal border crossings and criminal activities and reported to Texas law enforcement authorities. The VDF and DMA representatives assisted the Soldiers and Airmen in finishing their administrative out-processing tasks.
