11C students live fire mortars at Fort Barfoot - Nov. 2, 2023

U.S. National Guard Soldiers conduct a mortar live fire as part o the 11C Indirect Fire Infantryman Course, taught by cadre assigned to 1st Battalion, 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute, Nov. 2, 2023, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The live fire served as the culminating event for the five National Guard Soldiers in the class, who fired 60mm, 81mm and 120mm mortar systems. At the conclusion of the course, the students will earn the 11C military occupational specialty.
