Pearson promoted to lieutenant colonel - Nov. 8, 2023

Maj. W. Chandler Pearson, battalion commander for the 229th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, and the full-time operations officer for construction and facilities management, is promoted to lieutenant colonel Nov. 8, 2023, at the Virginia National Guard Sergeant Bob Slaughter Headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. Brig. Gen. Todd Hubbard, Director of the Joint Staff for Virginia Army National Guard, presided over the promotion ceremony and administered Pearson the oath of office for his new rank.
