Saber, St. Lo Soldiers live fire 120mm mortars - Jan. 13, 2024

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct a mortar live-fire range Jan. 13, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. Soldiers assigned to the Portsmouth-based 2nd Squadron, 183rd Cavalry Regiment, 116th IBCT and the Winchester-based 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th IBCT fired the M121 120 mm mortar system to train on basic tasks in preparation for qualification ranges scheduled for later this year. The Soldiers also fired the M224 60 mm mortar system.
