529th CSSB conducts asymmetric threat lane training - Jan. 18, 2024
Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Virginia Beach-based 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group, conduct a tactical convoy and respond to simulated enemy engagements and improvised explosive devices Jan. 18, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. Brig. Gen. Charles Martin Jr. and Command Sgt. Maj. Irving Reed Jr., the Virginia Army National Guard command team, visited with the 529th’s Soldiers during the training and thanked them for their hard work. The asymmetric warfare training was part of the 529th’s pre-mobilization annual training to help the prepare for the upcoming federal active duty mobilization to Poland.
