VNG WOCS graduate pinned as WO1 - May 4, 2024

Sgt. 1st Class Daniel Canada officially joins the warrant officer ranks during a promotion ceremony held May 4, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. Canada graduated the Virginia Army National Guard’s Warrant Officer Candidate School on March 3, 2024. At the time, Canada received a certificate of eligibility in lieu of a promotion as he awaited an available position. Lt. Col. Christina Perronie, commander of the 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute’s 3rd Battalion, administered the oath of office to Canada, and he was pinned by his father and brother. (
