Task Force St. Lo participates in Victory in Europe celebration in Czech Republic - May 8, 2024

Virginia, Kentucky and West Virginia National Guard Soldiers participate in a Victory in Europe celebration held May 8, 2024, in the town of Hranice in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. The Soldiers are taking part in Operation Immediate Response 24, a component exercise of the NATO-wide DEFENDER 24 exercise being held throughout Europe. The units are mobilized for IR 24 as Task Force St. Lo under the command of the Virginia National Guard’s Winchester-based 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
