VNG Soldiers, Airmen recognized by governor during Military Signing Day - May 17, 2024

New enlistees into the Virginia National Guard attend the 2024 Virginia Department of Education Military Signing Day, held May 17, 2024, at the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond, Virginia. Gov. Glenn Youngkin, the Governor of Virginia, served as the keynote speaker for the event, and personally congratulated each enlistee. A total of 16 new Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen participated in the event, alongside their fellow service members from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. The event provided an opportunity to recognize the newest members of the U.S. Armed Forces in front of their family members and friends.
