116th IBCT Soldiers conduct rappel training at Fort Barfoot - June 22, 2024

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Staunton-based 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team train on the rappel tower during annual training June 22, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. Rappel masters assigned to the Lynchburg-based 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th IBCT led the training, which included other Red Dragons as well as Soldiers assigned to the Fredericksburg-based 229th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 116th IBCT.
