NC Guard Soldiers live fire M1A2 Abrams tanks at Fort Barfoot - Sept. 17, 2024

North Carolina National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 252nd Armor Regiment, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team live fire M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams main battle tanks Sept. 17, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The tanks were delivered in July, and the Soldiers have been conducting new equipment fielding over the last few weeks. After the training is complete, the Fort Barfoot Maneuver Area Training Equipment Site will house and maintain the tanks for future training exercises.
