Dekeyser sworn in as VNG Deputy IG - Oct. 18, 2024

Maj. Charles Dekeyser is sworn in as the Virginia National Guard’s Deputy Inspector General during a ceremony Oct. 18, 2024, at the VNG Sgt. Bob Slaughter Headquarters at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. Maj. Gen. James W. Ring, the Adjutant General of Virginia, administered the oath of office to Dekeyser, who succeeds Maj. Jonathan Fair in the position. Dekeyser previously served as the Fort Belvoir-based 91st Cyber Brigade’s operations officer.
