State Capitol and Washington Monument, Richmond, Va.

Card Text (transcribed from postcard): This glorious assemblage of statesman, and Patriots portrayed in characteristic attitude, from a constellation of illustrations Virginians surrounding WASHINGTON, 'the central luminary.' The base is designed as a six point star on the rays of which are placed the statues of Jefferson, Henry, Marshall, Mason, Nelson, and Lewis. In the right foreground is shown the State Capitol Building.
