John Marshall High School, Marshall & 8th Sts. Richmond, Va.

Card Text (transcribed from postcard): This building is erected on property originally owned by Chief Justice Marshall, one of Virginia's most distinguished statesmen. The total cost was $750,000 and is a model of modern school architecture. The building was designed by Chas. K. Bryant, Architect, Richmond, Va. The old John Marshall House stands on the southeast corner of the school campus and will be used as the administration building for the City School Board. It has been repaired and made fireproof.
