Card Text (transcribed from postcard): Unveiled in Monroe Park, Oct. 29, 1891. It represented this distinguished 'Soldier, Statesman, Patriot, Friend' in Confederate uniform. It was erected to his memory by survivors of his cavalry brigade and employees of the C&O Railroad, of which he was 2nd Vice-president at the time of his death.
