Virginia State Library, Capitol Grounds, Richmond, Va.

Card Text (transcribed from postcard): This handsome public building was erected in 1895, though the South wing was added in 1903. The lower floors contain the court-room of the Supreme Court of Appeals, the law library and offices of various state officials. The entire 3rd floor being appropriated to the uses of the State (miscellaneous) Library. The portraits and other objects of historical interest here displayed attract numerous students and visitors.
