Mutual Assurance Society Building (Ninth and Mains Sts.) Richmond, Va.

Card Text (transcribed from postcard): This splendid office building--Richmond's first skyscraper'--was erected in 1906, at a cost of over $900,000.00. By the fire insurance company whose name it bears. The 'Old Mutual' is the oldest corporation in Virginia; its charter having been granted in 1794, and contains many unique features, such as making its premiums a first lein upon premises insured. It contains about 304 offices, is 13 stories high, and [not readable on card] feet in height.
