ActionScript (inside the Flash movie): getURL("javascript:$('#" + id
+ "').hide()");
Better yet, create a hider function that does the work:
ActionScript:
getURL("javascript:hideElem('" + id + "')");
JavaScript:
function hideElem(elemID) {
//error checking, verification, etc.
$('#' + elemID + ').hide();
}
