How-To Download A YouTube Video 10/16/2010

Initial Setup – Step 1

1. Download and install “Mozilla Firefox”


2. From Firefox, click Tools, and select “Add-ons”
3. From the Add-ons menu, click the “Get Add-ons” tab
4. Search for: “DownloadHelper” (one word)
5. Click on “Video DownloadHelper
6. Select “Add to Firefox” to install Video DownloadHelper
Initial Setup – Step 2

1. Download and install “7-Zip”


2. Download “Pazera Free FLV to AVI Converter”
a. Right click on the file after you save it, hover over “7-Zip”…
b. Select option: Extract to “Pazera_Free_FLV_to_AVI_Converter.zip\”
c. Rename folder named “Pazera_Free_FLV_to_AVI_Converter” to Pazera
3. Right Click on the folder “Pazera” and select cut
4. Click on the address bar at the top
a. Highlight everything, type this: C:\Program Files
b. Hit Enter, right click in this folder, and select “Paste”
c. Open the folder named “Pazera”
d. Right click on the file named “flvtoavi.exe” or “flvtoavi”…
e. Hover over the “Sent to” option, and select option “Desktop (create shortcut)”
f. Go to the desktop, and rename “flvtoavi.exe – Shortcut” to Video Converter

Downloading Videos – Step 1

1. Go to any video on YouTube, and start watching it while in Firefox and look for three dots (red, blue,
yellow) swirling around at the top of Firefox on the toolbar.
2. Click on the down-pointing arrow next to that button.
a. Hover over the highest resolution you want to download (Bigger number = Higher Resolution)
b. From the pop-out menu, select download
3. Save the file (ex: 12345).
Downloading Videos – Step 2

1. Start the “Video Converter” located on your desktop


2. Select the “Add files” option on the second row of tabs, at the top of the application (colored in purple)

3. Locate video “12345” and double click on it

4. Select the “CONVERT” option on the second row of tabs, at the top of the application (colored in purple)

6. After you see “Satus: Done” open the folder where 12345 is located, and delete 12345.flv

7. Close the Video Converter, Enjoy your YouTube Video!

8. To download more videos, repeat “Downloading Videos” Steps 1 & 2
