Please read the whole of these instructions

before trying to install ElsaWin

If each exe file is not ran as an administrator your
installation will fail.
If you have a problem at one stage, stop and sort that
stage out before continuing. If one stage fails the
following stages are more likely to fail
If you have any problems please let me know.
Create a folder called ElsaWin on a hard drive which has 75gb of free space.
Place DVD 1 into your DVD drive. Copy and paste all the files from Dvd 1 into the
ElsaWin folder.

Then place DVD 2 into your DVD drive.

Copy and paste all the files from Dvd 2 into the ElsaWin folder. Click yes to
merge the 2 folders

Then place DVD 3 into your DVD drive. Some virus scanners will detect
ELSA_Keygen.exe from the Keygen and serial number folder as a problem. If you
need advice on how to get this exe copied let me know. One way would be to
disconnect the computer from the internet and turn off your virus scanner until
Elsawin is registered. This is done at the end of 4.00 installation. After you have
used the Keygen to register Elsawin delete the Keygen and serial number folder,
turn your virus scanner back on and run a quick scanner of the computer.

Copy and paste all the files from Dvd 3 into the ElsaWin folder. Click yes to
merge the 2 folders

Then place DVD 4 into your DVD drive.

Copy and paste all the files from Dvd 4 into the ElsaWin folder. Click yes to
merge the 2 folders

Repeat the copy and paste operation for the remaining 5 DVDS. After all 9 dvds
are in the ElsaWin folder this is how the ElsaWin folder will look

Now you can delete from the ElsaWin folder which brands
databases you do not want e.g. if you dont want Seat delete that
folder

You are now ready to start installing ElsaWin

Open the Setup files ELSAWIN folder and then the 1.Setup_CD_4.00
folder. Next run Elsa_40_Voll_Setup.exe as an administrator. Do not
change any default settings bbgate, apos and apospro

When prompted enter your user details and one of these serial numbers

Select any additional languages you want to install
Then let the program install.
Next, you will be prompted to activate the program.

Open the Keygen and serial number folder and prestart key generator
ELSA_keygen.exe
Copy the 8-digit Provisional code from Elsawin into the key generator
Click Get Code will generate 8-digit a Final Code that must be entered in the
field The final code" in Elsawin and then click" OK ". This will register Elsawin
This is the only time in the installation that Elsawin will have to be registered

If you have turned your virus scanner off, now turn it back on

If each exe file is not ran as an administrator your

installation will fail.

Open the Setup files ELSAWIN folder and then the 1.Setup_CD_4.10
folder. Next run Elsa_40_Voll_Setup.exe as an administrator. Do not
change any default settings bbgate, apos and apospro

Now create a user by firstly opening the ElsaWin administration shortcut thats
on your desktop. When asked for a username and password enter admin in both
boxes and click okay. Go to the services menu and select user setup

1. Next enter your name and what user name you want to use
2. Check the administrator box and select the default language for the new
user
3. Enter and confirm the password for the new user
4. Use the drop down arrows in both boxes to select 000 and 00000
5. You will then see a box to confirm your details, click next and on the next
prompt screen click create user.

As no
databases have been installed yet, Elsawin will not
display any brand specific information
You can now use the new user you have created to log into ElsaWin.

Skip this next step if you do not want Seat installed

Open the Seat folder and then the SEAT_01.2014 folder. From that folder
run setup.exe as an administrator. This will install the database for Seat
cars

Skip this next step if you did not install Seat

Open the Setup files ELSAWIN folder and then the 1.Setup_CD_4.00
folder. Next run Elsa_40_Voll_Setup.exe as an administrator. Do not
change any default settings bbgate, apos and apospro. Same as
the first time 4.00 was installed but this time ElsaWin is registered so the
install will be quicker and smoother

Skip this next step if you do not want Skoda installed

Open the Skoda folder and then the Skoda03.2012 folder. From that folder
run setup.exe as an administrator. This will install the database for Skoda
cars

Skip this next step if you do not want VW installed

1. Open the VW folder and then the Base_06.2013 folder. From that folder
run setup.exe as an administrator. This will install the database for VW
cars. This will take a long time.
2. Go back to the VW folder and into the VW_2014-01_UPDATE folder. From
that folder run setup.exe as an administrator. This will install the updated
database for VW cars
3. Go back to the VW folder and into the VW_2014-01_Update_FIX folder. This
will install the updated database for VW cars

Skip this next step if you do not want VW commercial

vehicles installed
1. Open the VW folder and then the NW 2013-06 folder. From that folder run
setup.exe as an administrator. This will install the database for VW
commercial vehicles
2. Go back to the VW folder and into the NW 2014-01_UPD folder. From that
folder run setup.exe as an administrator. This will install the updated
database for VW commercial vehicles

Do not skip this step its for all brands

Open the COMMON_FILES_2014-01 folder. From that folder run setup.exe

as an administrator. This will install the information that is common to all
brands

Skip this next step if you did not install Skoda

Open the SKODA 2012-03 update fix folder. From that folder run setup.exe
as an administrator. This will install the update for the Skoda cars
database. Without this update the Skoda cars database will not go into
ElsaWin 5.

Do not skip the next 2 steps

The following programs must be installed on the computer before ElsaWin can be
updated to version 5.0:

Microsoft Installer MSI 4.5 (or higher) should be installed

Microsoft .Net 3.5 SP1 (or higher) Download and install .net framework
4.5.1 if its not already installed

Also install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2

x86 file for a 32 bit system and x64 for a 64 bit system

Run Windows update to update SQL server and .NET 4.5.1

Microsoft Power Shell 1.0 (or higher) should be installed

1. Open the Setup files ELSAWIN folder and then the 3.UpdateCD_5.00 folder.
In that folder run Elsa_50_Upd_Setup.exe as an administrator. Do not
change any default settings bbgate, apos and apospro This installs
the ElsaWin 5.0 update (a very, very long install as all the databases from
4.10 have to be moved into 5.0, at times nothing will seem to be
happening but be patient)

2. Open the Setup files ELSAWIN folder and then the 4.UpdateCD_5.10 folder.
In that folder run Elsa_51_Upd_Setup.exe as an administrator. Do not
change any default settings bbgate, apos and apospro. This installs
the ElsaWin 5.1 update and will not take too long.

Skip this next step if you do not want Audi installed

Open the Audi folder and then the 5.Base_03.2014 folder. From that folder
run setup.exe as an administrator. This will install the database for Audi
cars and will take a long time due to its size
