COC1 Install and Configure Computer Systems (2 hours)

 Assembly and Disassembly of Computer Unit


 Prepare bootable medium (Flash drive) Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
 Install OS: Win7 and Win Server 2008 R2
o Delete partition
o Create partition (2) 40% - C; 60% - D
o Fresh installation of OS
 Activation of OS (Win Server)
 Install Drivers (LAN)

COC2 Configure Computer Networks (2.5 hours)


 Prepare network cable (Cat 5e UTP); straight thru (2)
 Establish peer – peer networking
o Static IP Address (Class C)
 192.168.___.(1;2;3)
 Perform ping test
 Folder sharing
COC3 Setup computer server (1.5 hours)
 Router configuration (10 mins.)
o Dynamic IP Address (Class C)
 Similar IP Address with COC2
 Perform ping test
NOTE: Before adding roles to server, please do the following;
 Disable router DHCP.
 Change IP settings of client PC’s to OBTAIN IP ADDRESS AUTOMATICALY.
 Disable LAN of wired and wireless client computers.
 Use static IP address to server only. Don’t forget to use tab to get the subnet mask.
 Add roles:
o Active directory domain services (ADDS)
o Domain name services (DNS)
o Dynamic host control protocol (DHCP)
o File services
o Print and Document management/services
 Install printer (Epson L210)
o Share printer
 Create folder for:
o Mapping
o Redirection
 Create 2 user accounts
 Deploy printer
 Perform remote desktop connection
 Documentation:
o Full name
o Assessment Center
o SSID and Password (WIFI)
o IP Address (Server, Desktop, Laptop)
o User Accounts
o Print thru Laptop

COC4 Maintain and Repair Computer systems and networks (1 hour)


 Troubleshoot problems during assessment process
 Perform server backup (30mins.)
 Perform server restoration (30mins.)
