Practical Research CSS

The document discusses a research study about the lack of personal internet access among junior high and senior high students in Sicayab NHS in Strand of TVL CSS. The study aims to determine the difference in learning outcomes between students who can afford personal internet access and those who cannot. It will use the digital divide theory as a framework and examine challenges faced by students without access. The goal is to prove the hypothesis that there is a significant difference in learning computer system servicing based on access. The respondents will be students categorized based on their ability to afford quality internet access. The study's significance and limitations are also outlined.

Chapter 1
THE PROBLEM AND ITS SCOPE

1. Introduction:

Our Research Study Talk About The Lack Of Personal

Internet Access Of The Students In Junior High/Senior
High of Sicayab NHS In Strand Of TVL CSS Where We Will
Conduct A Research About Their Experiencing Lack Of
Personal Internet Access During on Learning Computer
System Servicing When Participating In This Strand.
Our Topic is to determine the G9-G12 Students who can
Afford the Personal Internet Access and also those
Students who can't Afford the Personal Internet Access
when it's come to do their Computer System Servicing.

Theoretical Framework:

(Digital Divide Theory)

Digital Divide Theory serves as a foundational framework
for understanding the disparities in access to information
and communication technologies (ICTs) among different
populations. In the context of this study, the theory helps to
elucidate how the lack of personal internet access creates
barriers to learning computer system servicing.

2.Background and Significance

Our Research is mainly focus to those experiencing Lack of

Personal Internet Access among the students of
SicayabNHS that is it aquired for them to have a Personal
Internet Access on Computer System Servicing to able to
join and participate in class.

3.Existing Knowledge Gaps

*The Study of what are the specific challenges faced by the

students without personal internet access in learning
computer system servicing

4.Policy And Implementation Context

*Our guideline is that to research and find out of having

Personal Internet Access is important to you to join and
learn CSS

5.Local context (if applicable)

6.Research Objective:
*The goal of our research is to find and prove our
hypothesis that there is a significant difference by students
who has a Personal Internet Access On Learning CSS and
those students who has Lack of Personal Internet Access
on Learning CSS.

Schema of the study

Statement of The Problem

1.The digital divide, defined as the gap between those who

have access to modern information and communication
technologies and those who do not, remains a pressing
issue worldwide. This gap extends beyond mere hardware,
encompassing the lack of personal internet access as a
significant barrier to acquiring essential skills, such as
computer system servicing.

Respondents:

The respondents for this research will include students

from[Junior High to Senior Highschool]ranging from
primary to secondary levels ,who will be categorized into
two groups:
1.1 Students who can afford quality personal internet
access.
1.2 Students who can't afford the quality of personal
internet access.

Hypothesis:
There is a significant difference between the students who
can afford the quality of personal internet access and
students who can't afford the quality of personal internet
access on learning Computer System Servicing.

Significance of the study:

This study will beneficiary for the Students of SicayabNHS
for they will more aware to use personal internet access
carefully.

The Teachers will gladly be able to help and access to

make sure they will be able to implement, carefulness in
using personal internet access.

7.Scope And Limitations of the Study

The study examined the students of junior high and senior
high to their personal internet access in using their
personal internet whether it affects on their grades or not.

The study determine whether the students will be able to

provide good enough grades if they're affected by the use
of the personal internet access.

8.Definition of Terms
Attitude towards Css students-in this study/research it
refers to the students
perception,knowledge,skills,performance towards the
subject and how it can affect the subject in our school.

Computer System Servicing (CSS) – the terms point to a

learning that provides students with the knowledge and
skills necessary to install, configure, and maintain
computer systems and networks. It is ideal for individuals
who have an interest in technology and want to pursue a
career in the ICT industry hoping to be able to enhance their
