WINSPIRO PRO™ PC SOFTWARE UPDATE

WHAT YOU NEED:

1. an internet connection

2. administration rights on PC

SECTION 1. INSTALL / UPDATE WINSPIROPRO

1.1 Turn on your PC and if you already have winspiroPRO software installed, be sure this
application is closed.

1.2 Download the latest winspiroPRO software version via this link:

http://www.spirometry.com/download.asp?path=MIRwinspiroPRO/setup.zip

1.3 Un-zip the “setup” folder that has been downloaded, then right-click on the fle
“setup.exe” and select “run as Administrator” to launch the Installation Wizard.

1.4. Follow the Wizard to install the software.

SECTION 2. SOFTWARE LICENSE ACTIVATION

Every frst time your install the Software on your PC, you need a software license activation
key (namely the PIN-PAN combination). This is mandatory and free of charge (according to
the medical device regulation in the country of origin Italy).
A 60 days trial is available before the software will lock and the activation key will be
defnitely retuired.

The PIN-PAN combination is different on each PC workstation where you install the
software. Cause PIN (personal identifcation number) changes on each PC.

To get the activation keys for each workstation, you have to be a registered user on
spirometry.com (register with your email and password).

An internet connection is needed to activate the software license.

2.1 When frst installation is completed, open the software from your Applications, and the
following Registration PopUp window will open automatically.

Click on “Register now” in the popup windows and you’ll be redirected to the registration
page on MIR website. Note: You need an internet connection to proceed

2.2 You’ll be redirected on the registration page. All felds are mandatory, and please note:

a) type your email address correctly. If you type it wrong you will not receive the
confrmation code you need to register your software.

b) Accept the data protection agreement for technical assistance, as this will allow
you to receive technical assistance if needed
c) Click on Confrm at the end of registration page.

2.3 The PIN number of your software license should appear automatically in the box:

The PAN number will be send to the email address you’ve used for the registration.

2.4 Copy the PAN number you fnd in the email. Open your software again and you’ll see
there is now a window where you can paste your PAN number.

MILESTONE: YOUR SOFTWARE LICENSE IS NOW ACTIVE!
