Abstract :
Instagram Photo and Video Downloader is an online service that allows you to
download photos and videos from Instagram to your device. Currently, more
than 80 million posts are posted by more than 500 million active users by the
day. In it, numerous photos and videos are downloaded by people for various
purposes. They use a third-party app and some websites to download. Many
of those were insecure and collect the data illegally. This the reason why we
develop this website. It is 100% safe and we don’t collect and use users' data
illegally. Users can copy dusk till dawn and download Instagram posts without
limitation. The process of downloading a post is in seconds. The download
method is Copy the profile name from Instagram that you want to download.
And you can downlaod all the posts from one profile in one tap. Then paste
the profile name in the given input box. Then tap the download button to
download the post. The main advantage is you can download the photos and
videos without any quality loss. This site is very user-friendly.

¢There are a lot of websites and third-party apps for downloading Instagram posts, but most
tools take unwanted data from users and are likely to use it in a more lucrative and
misleading way.
¢So people need a safe tool. We never place ads or advertise anything on that website.
¢We have created it using HTML, CSS, js, Python, and frameworks.
¢This website was created by an 11 member team.
¢We design this website inspired by ingramer.
Existing System :
1. There are many websites to download photos on Instagram. But those websites
also use cookies to collect user data.
2. There are many third party apps just like the website. But they get unnecessary
permission from the users. This calls into question the privacy of the user.
3. Most websites do not give you the option to download the entire post in a profile
Proposed System :
1. We are not going to place any advertisements or anything on this website. So
we do not collect any data from users.
2. You can download the entire posts in a profile including IGTV, Reels and
videos.
System Requirements
Hardware Requirement :
This website requires a bit of hardware to build. Also the specific disk space and data(internet)
are required as there is a need to download a few software to create this website.
1. 2GB Ram.
2. 200 Mb disk space.
3. Internet connection.
Software Requirement :
To build this website there is need some text editors to code and frameworks for designing.
1. Visual studio code. 3. Sublime Text 3.
2. Python.
Domain Requirement :
Since this is a website, a domain is required for launch it on internet and user to use this tool.
System Architecture

Get the profile name from user :
Downloading a post requires some reference about it so that the post can be
downloaded. You need to get the profile name from the user for that reference.
But we can also get the date, URL to download the post.
Go to Instagram Server :
After receiving the profile name from the user, it flows to the Instagram server
to downloading the post.
Check the whether given profile name is exist or not:
After getting into the social media content page, need to check the given profile
name is still exists or not. If the profile name is exists then the next process will
start. Otherwise we will give the instruction “The profile name dosen’t exist, so
check the given profile name or try one more time” to user.
Get the option:
Get the option neither download only the profile picture or downloading all
the posts from that profile.
Downloading the post :
If the profile name is exist then we can download all the post easily by
using the instaloader tool. We can download the post by using
download_post() method in instaloader.
Give the instruction :
If the profile name is missing, we provide instructions to users. Some
users will paste a profile name that was copied in the past. But for now it will
be more likely to be not exist. The person who created it may have
destroyed it.

Conclusion :
The purpose of this website was to download the photos and videos from
the social media without lossing the quality. Overall the team feels that the
project is pretty successful although we did face a few problems here and
there. Other than that final report is coming out really well and will be
submitted before or on the appointed day as to our expectation.
