This workshop is part of the Graphics Lab, a project aimed at picture retouching to improve the graphical content of the Wikimedia projects. Request: Hello! This request might be a bit big but it sure will be fun for someone interested in vexillology.

So, I found out that crwflags added more flags related to Yemen and it would be nice to have those vectorized here.

Sadly not; The file you listed has the words "لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ" "la ilaha illa Allah" written but the crwflags file has the words لا معبود بحق إلا الله

Both files should be modified by moving the Syrian flag above the “Damascus flower” emblem, as seen in this low-quality image. Finally, the red color of the bar on the left (flag colors) should be replaced with green, while the green color of the stars should be replaced with red. (Red: #CE1126; Green: #007A3D) Additionally, a third star should be added in the center between the two (which would need to be realigned accordingly). currently this image has the motto "조국의 무궁한 번영과 인민의 안녕을 위하여", but a video for a North Korean parade on 27 July 2023 shown that the flag has a motto end up with "보위하여". It would be nice if someone can found it out.

@En rouge: I apologise for the lack of communication. The shade of blue has been inconsistent, but various sources I've found online use the darker, less vivid shades. I can't access the U.S. Army Institute of Heraldry website, where I'd find official info, due to a 504 Error. See here (the division's Facebook page) and here (portrait of the division's Commanding General). From your link U.S. Army Institute of Heraldry website, I got two images:

Sleeve Insignia (but inapropriate/invalid blue, as initial image on Commons)
Service Identification Badges

And from your sources and other sources:

green can vary from forest green, to moss green, to khaki...
blue is also in a wide range of colors.

Design/shape:

it seems that the cross don't have right angles at the center (see [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11], [12]), it's rather a Santa Fe Cross (unknown design), but with rounded corners, or with bevels, at the center.

Issues

The tree arrangement suggests all external nodes are at the same depth – even though the node no. 3 "r"-"om"-"ulus" actually is one level higher.
The presentation generally keeps the alphabetic order aligned to left-to-right direction – except the node 3.
The image shows internal nodes in the tree with two children nodes only. This is just a coincidence, not the tree's property.

Request

Please shift subtrees "r"-"om" and "r"-"ub" apart a bit and move the node 3. to the right of "r"-"om"-"an" to fix ordering and emphasize the depth difference.
Please replace the last word in the list with "rubric" and
replace the subtree consisting of subpaths "ic"-"on" and "ic"-"undus" with two leaf nodes one level under the "r"-"ub" with branches labeled "icon" and "ric"
to emphasize the internal nodes may have more than 2 children nodes, and that the leaf nodes needn't be all at the same level.

Please note the labels in rectangles are assigned to branches – from the algorithmic point of view they denote the ways outgoing down from the nodes above them, not the contents of the nodes below them. So it is important the branch line does not end at the rectangle, but rather passes behind and below it.

Feedback request which version is better?

Greater density and less detail. 139 lines of XML markup.
More negative space and detail. 542 lines.

Request: Both of these files are my derivative svg with W3C valid markup. They are meant to be faithful reproductions of the right image on File:Een boekje met prentjes waarbij wat te lezen staat voor brave kinderen - Deel 2 - PPN 290992966 - Image 11.jpeg.
