### Error during `npm install` or `npm run test` encountered: "digital envelope routines::unsupported"
On node version >=17, the following error message may be encountered:

"digital envelope routines::unsupported"

To get around this, use--
```bash
export NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider && npm install
```
or...
```bash
export NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider && npm run test
```
